Sighnaghi - a small town in eastern Georgia, which was founded in the XVII century during the reign of King Irakli II, it is located on a hillside in the historic Kakheti region, in 109 km away from the city of Tbilisi. This town is famous for the eponymous castle, part of the list of the most famous and largest castles in Georgia. The walls of the fortress Signagi miraculously have survived, and now surrounds the old part of town and go far beyond the city boundaries. The wall has 28 watchtowers, with a magnificent view of the Alazani Valley ...
