Turtle Lake


Turtle Lake (Kus TBA) - is located on the northern slope of Mount Mtatsminda. From this location opens an incredible view of the capital of Georgia - all can be seen as on a palm. The water in the lake comes from the small river Varaziskhevi (a tributary of the Kura). The lake is located at an altitude of 800 m above sea level and is surrounded by woodland; its area is 0,034 sq km, maximum depth - 2.6 m. Turtle Lake, surrounded by stretches comfortable pebbly beach, is a popular recreation area of Tbilisi residents and visitors. The beach has everything you need for a relaxing break - umbrellas, chairs, tables. Across the beach are scattered cozy open-air cafes and bars. For families with children - children's playgrounds.
