Borjomi - Kharagauli National Park is located in the central part of Georgia and represents eastern part of the mountain range of the Lesser Caucasus. Total area Borjomi - Kharagauli National Park is 85.083 hectares, which is more than 1% of the entire territory of Georgia. In Borjomi - Kharagauli Protected Areas comprises six districts - Borjomi, Kharagauli, Akhaltsikhe, Adigeni, Khashuri and Baghdadi. Administrative centers and centers of visitors of national parks are located in Borjomi and Kharagauli. Park Administration manages four protected areas of different categories - Borjomi reserve, Borjomi - Kharagauli national park, Reserve Nedzvi and natural monument of fossil forest Goderdzi. Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park is the first national park in the Caucasus, according to the international standards, as evidenced by its entry in 2007 as a member of the European network of protected territories PAN Park. Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park in 2010 received again PAN Park-and a certificate, which again confirms the international acceptance the natural values and tourism potential of the park. Park rangers guarded the park round the clock on horseback. The tourist route Borjomi - Kharagauli National Park allows hiking in the one-day and also round trips. The network of hiking trails ranging from 400 meters to 2,642 meters. Trails are well arranged and marked. National Park offers visitors hiking, horseback riding, biking and winter educational and cultural tours. Routes in the park are functioning during the whole year.
